The Friends of the Library Fund is supported by the Eastern University academic community to advance the collections and services of Warner Memorial Library.
For over 50 years, Friends of Library funds have provided books, materials, computers, study room renovations, and comfortable furnishings for our academic community. The Friends of Library Fund supports the library mission of providing scholarly resources for spiritual service and lifelong learning.
The Mission of the Friends of Library Fund
The Friends of Library Fund exists to serve the academic community of Eastern University through:
- Raising designated funds for Library programming and ventures
- Encouraging major gifts to Eastern University’s endowment
- Providing avenues and resources for book, art, and essay contests that encourage intellectual and spiritual development
- Using book and material gift contributions to advance the library
- Sponsoring library cultural events and lectures
- Aiding library staff in their professional development
